Browser assistant · Desktop Chrome
Fix your website using your own login.
Connect the page editor you selected. Review the exact change in MakeTrend before it is applied, then wait for the public page check.
Installation is currently supervised.
Public Chrome Web Store installation is being prepared. Until it is available, contact support for a supervised installation. The download below is a beta package; it does not install or update automatically.
Supervised beta installation
Use desktop Chrome and a website you are authorized to edit. If your browser is managed by your organization, ask its administrator about installation.
- Download MakeTrend Browser Assistant beta and unzip it into a folder you can keep.
- Open Chrome’s Extensions page, enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked, and choose that folder.
- Pin MakeTrend Browser Assistant to your toolbar. Return to your saved improvement after connecting the editor.
For a beta update, first reconcile any interrupted task. Replace the files in the same folder, then select Reload on Chrome’s Extensions page. Keep the extension’s local data and use the same Chrome profile.
On a phone or tablet, you can save and review your change. Apply it later on desktop Chrome, or use another publishing method available in your business’s settings.
Connect the exact page you want to change.
- Sign in to your website normally and complete any MFA. Open its WordPress, GoDaddy or Hostinger page editor.
- Open the browser assistant from the toolbar and select Connect this tab. For GoDaddy or Hostinger, enter the exact public page address and select its plain text section. In Hostinger, use manual mode and Edit text.
- Return to MakeTrend and inspect the page. Review the before and after wording, destination and publication scope; obtain the required approval.
- Apply the approved change once. Keep the editor open and wait for MakeTrend’s independent public page check. A preview or editor confirmation alone does not mean the change is verified.
Existing WordPress page edits require the MakeTrend Site Fixes companion plugin. GoDaddy and Hostinger publish the website’s current saved drafts together; review any unrelated drafts before approving that scope.
Cloudflare, Netlify, Vercel and Firebase connect through Publishing settings in MakeTrend.
If a task stops, inspect before applying again.
If the response is interrupted, keep the saved improvement and use its inspection or public check action. Reconnect the same editor if needed. Repeated clicks, reinstalling or clearing extension data cannot safely establish whether a change already happened.
Wrong tab, expired login or unsupported editor
Open the exact page editor, sign in again and reconnect from its toolbar. If MakeTrend cannot identify the page or a supported text section, use the manual publishing method. Your approved wording stays saved.
Stop, disconnect or restore a change
Use Stop further actions in MakeTrend when available, then Disconnect in the extension. A submitted change may still finish. These controls do not undo published content.
For supported existing-page changes, prepare a restoration in the saved improvement and review it as a new change. Restoration refuses detected later edits. New WordPress pages are managed in WordPress.
Your login stays in your browser.
The assistant accesses the editor tab you connect. It does not request general browsing history or cookie access. Passwords, cookies and the website’s login session are not sent to MakeTrend.
MakeTrend receives the selected page content and minimal task results. For GoDaddy and Hostinger, limited editor-control labels and the selected text are also processed by OpenAI to carry out the approved change. The assistant cannot choose arbitrary code, purchases, DNS changes or account deletion.
Local connection details and operation markers prevent duplicate actions. Disconnect keeps these markers. Uninstalling removes local extension data and does not remove website content or MakeTrend’s saved history. Reconcile interrupted tasks before uninstalling.
